To Market, To Market....

The Umpqua Valley Farmers Market opens at 9:00 am tomorrow morning and I will be there, rain or shine, with my signature "Eat Local Produce" market bag.

I'll be looking for tender asparagus for roasting, just-picked lettuce and spicy arugula for my salads, elephant garlic stalks to flavor my soup, healthy greens for smoothies, lovely flowers for my table, transplants for my garden beds and delicious new things to sample from our local bakers and candy makers.

I can't wait!!!
